# FAQ

This section contains answers to the most common questions about using Astra Terminal, fees, deposits, withdrawals, trading, security, and future features.

Astra Terminal is a non-custodial Telegram interface for interacting with DEX. We do not custody user funds, do not have access to wallets, and cannot sign transactions on behalf of users. All wallet actions and trading operations are confirmed by the user independently.

***

## 1. General Questions

### What is Astra Terminal?

Astra Terminal is a trading terminal inside Telegram, created for convenient interaction with DEX.

We provide an interface, design, trading panels, analytics, statistics, notifications, and additional features that help users interact with the market more conveniently.

At the same time, Astra Terminal is not an exchange, broker, bank, custodian, or exchange service. All trading operations take place through DEX infrastructure, and the user independently signs all actions through their wallet.

***

### Is Astra Terminal a separate exchange?

No.

Astra Terminal is not a separate exchange. We are an interface that allows users to interact with DEX through Telegram.

This means that:

* trades are executed through DEX;
* funds are not held by Astra Terminal;
* the user connects their wallet independently;
* the user signs transactions independently;
* Astra Terminal does not store private keys or seed phrases;
* Astra Terminal cannot control user funds.

***

### Do I need to create a separate account?

In most cases, Telegram and a connected wallet are enough to use Astra Terminal.

Your wallet is the main way to interact with the trading infrastructure. All important actions are confirmed through signatures.

***

### Does Astra Terminal custody my funds?

No.

Astra Terminal is a **non-custodial interface**. This means that we do not store, receive, or control user funds.

We do not have access to:

* your funds;
* private keys;
* seed phrase;
* recovery phrase;
* wallet passwords;
* the ability to sign transactions on your behalf.

All asset-related actions are performed by the user independently.

***

## 2. Fees

### What fees are charged in Astra Terminal?

We aim to provide transparent and fair pricing. Fees depend on the market type, trade type, and account conditions.

Usually, a fee is charged on each executed trade, meaning both when opening and closing a position.

***

### What are the futures trading fees?

For futures trading:

* **Taker:** 0.058% of the order value;
* **Maker:** 0.0327% of the order value.

A taker fee applies when your order is executed immediately against current market liquidity.

A maker fee applies when your order adds liquidity to the order book and is not executed immediately.

***

### What are the spot trading fees?

For spot trading:

* **Taker:** 0.0795% of the trade amount;
* **Maker:** 0.054% of the trade amount.

Spot trading means buying or selling an asset without using leverage.

***

### What are the fees on prediction markets?

For prediction markets:

* **Taker: 0% fees** on all markets.
* **Maker:** 0.02% of the trade amount.

***

### Can fees be different?

Yes.

Fees may be variable and, in some cases, lower than the values listed above. This may depend on account conditions, market type, referral program, DEX updates, or other factors.

At the same time, a fee above **0.09%** is not possible under the current Astra Terminal fee model.

Always carefully check the fee displayed in the interface before making a trade.

***

### What are Maker and Taker?

**Maker** is a user who places a limit order that is not executed immediately. Such an order adds liquidity to the order book.

**Taker** is a user whose order is executed immediately against available market liquidity. For example, a market order is usually a taker order.

In general, maker fees are lower because such orders add liquidity to the market.

## 3. Network Fees and Gas

### What is gas?

Gas is a network fee paid for executing operations on a blockchain.

Different networks may require gas to be paid in different assets. For example, in some networks users need to hold ETH to pay for transactions.

***

### Do I need ETH to pay for gas?

When using Astra Terminal, USDC deposits and withdrawals are designed so that users do not necessarily need to hold ETH to pay for gas.

The network fee is calculated during deposit or withdrawal and may be charged in USDC.

Usually, this fee is less than **$0.01**, but the actual value may depend on the network state, operation route, and technical conditions at the time of the transaction.

***

### Which network does Astra Terminal use?

Astra Terminal works with USDC on the **Arbitrum** network.

Important: when depositing or withdrawing, use the Arbitrum network unless the interface states otherwise.

If funds are sent through the wrong network or to the wrong address, they may be lost, and Astra Terminal may have no technical ability to help recover them.

***

### Why is Arbitrum used?

Arbitrum allows operations to be faster and cheaper compared to some other networks.

This makes deposits, withdrawals, and interaction with DeFi infrastructure more convenient for users.

***

## 4. Deposits and Withdrawals

### How do I deposit funds?

To deposit funds, go to the **“Deposit”** section or a similar section inside Astra Terminal and follow the interface instructions.

Before sending funds, carefully check:

* network;
* address;
* asset;
* amount;
* fee;
* operation conditions.

Astra Terminal cannot cancel a blockchain transaction after it has been sent.

***

### How do I withdraw funds?

To withdraw funds, go to the **“Withdraw”** section or a similar section inside Astra Terminal and follow the interface instructions.

Before confirming a withdrawal, check:

* recipient address;
* network;
* amount;
* fee;
* correctness of the data.

If funds are sent to the wrong address or through the wrong network, they may be lost.

***

### Can I buy or sell USDC with a card?

Astra Terminal may include a button redirecting to the third-party service **Pocket Exchange**, where a user may buy or sell USDC.

Important:

* Astra Terminal does not own Pocket Exchange;
* Astra Terminal does not operate Pocket Exchange;
* Astra Terminal does not control Pocket Exchange;
* Astra Terminal does not process bank cards;
* Astra Terminal does not accept fiat payments;
* Astra Terminal does not buy or sell USDC;
* Astra Terminal is not responsible for operations inside Pocket Exchange.

The button inside Astra Terminal only redirects the user to an external third-party service.

Before using Pocket Exchange, carefully review its terms, fees, limits, processing times, refund rules, and KYC/AML requirements.

***

### How long does it take to receive funds when withdrawing to a card?

If the user uses Pocket Exchange or another external service to withdraw to a card, processing times depend on that service, the banking system, P2P infrastructure, and other factors.

Usually, such operations may take from **5 to 30 minutes**, but the actual time may vary.

Astra Terminal does not control processing times on the side of Pocket Exchange or any other third-party service.

***

## 5. Referral Program

### Why can’t I activate a referral code?

Most likely, your trading volume has already exceeded **$10,000**.

A referral code for a discount can only be activated before reaching this threshold.

After the limit is exceeded, referral code activation may become unavailable.

***

### What discount does a referral code provide?

A referral code may provide a **4% discount** on trading fees if it is activated before reaching **$10,000** in trading volume.

Referral program terms may change, so current details should be checked in the Astra Terminal interface.

***

### Can I activate a code after I have already started trading?

Yes, if your trading volume has not yet exceeded the established limit.

If the limit has already been exceeded, activation may be unavailable.

***

## 6. Trading

### What are futures?

Futures allow users to trade price movements of an asset without needing to buy the asset on spot.

With futures, users can open positions:

* **Long**, if they expect the price to rise;
* **Short**, if they expect the price to fall.

Futures are high-risk instruments, especially when leverage is used.

***

### What is spot trading?

Spot trading means buying or selling an asset directly without leverage.

For example, when you buy cryptocurrency on spot, you buy the actual asset rather than a derivative instrument.

***

### What is leverage?

Leverage allows you to open a position larger than your own collateral.

For example, with 10x leverage, a 1% price movement may result in approximately a 10% change in the position result, excluding fees, funding, and other factors.

Leverage increases both potential profits and potential losses.

The higher the leverage, the higher the liquidation risk.

***

### What is liquidation price?

Liquidation price is the price level at which your position may be forcibly closed due to insufficient margin.

In simple terms, it is the price at which the loss on your position becomes too large relative to your collateral.

***

### How can I reduce liquidation risk?

To reduce liquidation risk:

* use lower leverage;
* do not open overly large positions;
* monitor your margin size;
* use Stop Loss;
* calculate risk in advance;
* do not trade with your entire balance;
* consider market volatility;
* do not open trades you do not understand.

Stop Loss does not guarantee full protection from losses, especially during sharp market movements, slippage, or low liquidity.

***

### What is Stop Loss?

Stop Loss is a risk management tool.

It allows you to set a level at which a position should be closed.

Stop Loss helps manage risk, but it does not guarantee execution at the exact price during sharp volatility, slippage, or insufficient liquidity.

***

### Can I trade stocks on spot right now?

At the moment, spot trading is available for cryptocurrencies.

Stocks, indices, and other 1:1-backed instruments may be added in future updates.

Follow announcements in Astra Terminal’s official channels.

***

### Does Astra Terminal provide trading recommendations?

No.

Astra Terminal does not provide financial, investment, or trading recommendations.

Any data, charts, statistics, notifications, AI analytics, or interface tips are provided for informational purposes only.

The user independently makes all trading decisions and bears full responsibility for their consequences.

## 7. Technical Questions

### I connected my wallet, but the balance is not displayed. What should I do?

Try the following steps:

1. Make sure the correct wallet is connected.
2. Check that the Arbitrum network is selected.
3. Refresh the page or restart the Mini App.
4. Check your internet connection.
5. Clear the browser or Telegram Mini App cache, if possible.
6. Check the balance through your wallet or an official source.
7. Reconnect your wallet.

If the problem persists, contact official Astra Terminal support through the links listed on the **“Official Links”** page.

***

### Why can data be delayed?

Astra Terminal receives some data from third-party infrastructure, including DEX, API providers, blockchain networks, and Telegram.

Delays may occur due to:

* network load;
* API delays;
* data updates;
* connection issues;
* technical maintenance;
* Telegram limitations;
* temporary third-party service failures.

Before taking important actions, it is recommended to verify data through official sources.

***

### Where can I find my trading history?

History and statistics can be found:

* in the **“Account”** section;
* in the bottom panel of the trading interface under the **“History”** tab;
* in the relevant statistics sections, if available in your version of the interface.

Availability and detail level may depend on the technical capabilities of the interface and data sources.

***

### What should I do if my order was not executed?

Orders may fail to execute for different reasons:

* the price did not reach the limit level;
* insufficient liquidity;
* market conditions changed;

* API delay occurred;
* third-party infrastructure failed.

Check the order status in the interface, trading history, and current data on DEX.

***

### What should I do if the interface freezes or works incorrectly?

Try the following:

1. Refresh the page or Mini App.
2. Restart Telegram.
3. Check your internet connection.
4. Clear cache.
5. Check official channels for status updates.
6. Reconnect your wallet.
7. Make sure you are using the current official link.

If the problem persists, contact official support.

***

## 8. Security

### Can Astra Terminal restore my wallet?

No.

Astra Terminal does not store user seed phrases, private keys, or recovery phrases.

If you lose access to your wallet, Astra Terminal cannot restore it for you.

***

### Can Astra Terminal return stolen funds?

No.

If funds were stolen, sent to the wrong address, lost due to phishing, malware, an incorrect signature, or wallet compromise, Astra Terminal may have no technical ability to return such funds.

In DeFi, the user is responsible for wallet security and signed actions.

***

### Will support message me first?

No.

The Astra Terminal team never messages users first in direct messages.

If someone messages you first on Telegram, claims to be an Astra Terminal employee, and asks you to connect your wallet, sign a transaction, open a link, send funds, seed phrase, or private key — they are a scammer.

***

### What will Astra Terminal never ask for?

Astra Terminal will never ask for:

* seed phrase;
* private key;
* wallet password;
* Telegram password;
* 2FA code;
* SMS code;
* remote device access;
* transfer of funds to a “protective” address;
* payment for “account unlocking”;
* payment for “withdrawal activation.”

Use only official links listed on the **“Official Links”** page.

***

## 9. AI Assistant

### When will the AI assistant be available?

The AI section is currently under development.

We plan to add the AI assistant, which will help with technical analysis, market observations, and informational analytics.

Follow announcements in Astra Terminal’s official channels.

***

### Will AI trade for me?

No.

AI will not independently open trades, close positions, sign transactions, or manage user funds.

The AI assistant will provide informational and analytical support.

The user independently makes all trading decisions.

***

### Can AI be considered a financial advisor?

No.

AI is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, broker, or asset manager.

AI analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.

Any decisions made after using AI are made by the user independently and at their own risk.

***

## 10. Support

### How can I contact support?

Official support links can be found:

* in the **“Account”** section;
* on the **“Official Links”** page;
* in Astra Terminal’s official channels.

Important: we never message users first in direct messages.

If a “support agent” messages you first, they are a scammer.

***

### Where are the official links?

All official Astra Terminal links are listed on the **“Official Links”** page.

Any other groups, bots, channels, websites, or support accounts are not official.

Always check that you are using the official link before using the Service.

***

## 11. Future of the Project

### What features will be added in the future?

We continue to develop Astra Terminal and plan to add new features, interface improvements, analytics, AI tools, and other useful updates.

All important news and announcements are published only in Astra Terminal’s official channels.

***

### Where can I follow updates?

Follow updates only through official channels listed on the **“Official Links”** page.

Do not trust announcements, links, or offers from direct messages or unofficial chats.

***

## 12. Important Reminder

Astra Terminal is an interface for interacting with DEX, not a custodial service.

This means:

* you control your wallet;
* you sign transactions yourself;
* you make trading decisions yourself;
* you are responsible for your own security;
* you are responsible for using third-party services.

Trading digital assets, futures, and leveraged instruments involves high risk. Never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
